👋 Hi, I’m Jen
I’ve worked across product and service design, strategy, communications design, design management, and creative services management for clients spanning governments, foundations, international organizations, and nonprofits. I like getting good at lots of things.
Most recently, I managed the visual design team at 18F, where I designed user-centered digital products that make the US government work better for the people it serves. My role had two primary tracks:
digital product design and agile software development coaching for other federal agencies,
building 18F’s visual design practice, including managing and hiring our visual experience designers.
In past lives, I was a seasoned clambaker who served lobster and clam chowder to former US presidents; a counselor and riding instructor at a children's equestrian camp; and a floral design assistant specializing in weddings.
